Job Summary / General Description
A Chem-Tech Solutions delivery team member is responsible for transporting and offloading industrial cleaning products while providing professional customer service to all customers. This is accomplished by appropriately using company vehicles and equipment to deliver products to customers in a safe and timely manner throughout the SE region. Service team members provide exceptional customer service utilizing a positive team approach for daily challenges in exceeding external and internal customer expectations. The ideal candidate performs product delivery, customer service, and production/warehouse functions each day, depending on the area of need.

Chem-Tech Solutions, Inc. is in Gastonia, NC, established in 1975 – Status: Small Business – Sales throughout the US with product delivery via LTL, dedicated contract carrier and company trucks. Company trucks delivery area includes NC, SC, TN, GA, AL, FL and VA and other areas as assigned.

Timeline: Immediate – interviews
Weekly pay rate - $28.00 per hour (time and half rates not applied to driver position). Upon successful completion of training and the 90day probationary period, a rate review will be conducted.
Uniforms & safety equipment provided at no cost
Mobile smart phone (data limits apply), company email, and driver log device provided at no cost
DOT physical & CDL license with applicable endorsements paid by company
Company credit card provided for fuel, food and hotel stays while traveling out of town

Requirements
Must be at least 21 years old
All applicants must possess a Class A or B CDL in good standing
All applicants must possess or obtain a Haz-mat and tanker endorsement
Must have or obtain ability to operate a CMV manual transmission
Verifiable 9 months CDL Class A or B experience
Employment offer conditional based on satisfactory MVR, physical, drug screen, background check and all DOT file requirements
Must have fewer than two (2) moving violations within the past three (3) years
Mechanical background preferred but not required
Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic
Working with chemicals and forklift experience is a plus
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Execute a new non-compete and non-disclosure Agreement

Ability to work a flexible schedule Monday-Friday, including early morning start times or other times as necessary
Deliver and unload Chem-Tech Solutions products in a safe manner

Overnight travel is generally not required but may include some depending on the location and route
